The "Beckumer Berge" sound much higher than they are. However, the undulating landscape has its very own charm for cyclists. Once you have enjoyed the panorama on the Höxberg, you will get an idea of the vastness of the region.

Stop off in Beckum, where the Werse is born! Stop off at the family-run Bett+Bike Hotel "Samson" in the centre of Beckum, directly on the Werse cycle path.

The hotel welcomes WerseRadweg cyclists with an attractive ambience and a cosy restaurant. It offers all cyclists the comprehensive service that will make your cycling tour on the WerseRadweg a pleasant travel experience.

Itinerary

Day 1:
From Beckum, explore the WerseRadweg in the direction of Oelde and discover the source of the Werse. Or you can cycle in the direction of Ahlen, where you can make a detour to the former Westfalen colliery. So the cycle tour focuses on the idyllic Werse on the one hand and the picturesque park landscape of the Münsterland on the other. On the signposted network of the Münsterland cycling network, you can also take other routes back to Beckum.

Day 2:
After a hearty breakfast, you start the day freshly strengthened. Use the time before departure to explore further stages of the WerseRadweg or ride your bike through the beautiful park landscape of Münsterland.
