Beckum Interreligious Dialogue Working Group
A fascinating journey to the three great places of worship
Three places of worship will be visited: the impressive synagogue, which is a symbol of Jewish life in Bielefeld, the beautiful Neustädter Marienkirche, which reflects the region's Christian heritage, and the mosque, which symbolises intercultural exchange.
This excursion offers a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the different faiths, break down prejudices and promote dialogue between the communities. It is an opportunity to engage in dialogue in a friendly and respectful atmosphere and to discover the commonalities and diversity of the city. The excursion is open to anyone who is interested in interfaith dialogue and would like to get to know Bielefeld from a new perspective. It is organised by the Interreligious Dialogue Working Group, which promotes understanding and mutual respect between religions.
For registration and further information, interested parties can contact Marei-Liselotte Feile, Integration Manager of the City of Beckum: 02521 29-5015, feile@beckum.de
The journey is made by public transport. The cost is around 5 euros per person for the day ticket. If you already have a ticket, there are no costs. Self-catering applies.
