The yellow canary was found on 12 October at the Christus Church in Beckum.

Despite the rainy weather, there was great interest in the guided tour of the excavation. More than 40 interested visitors came to the church square at St Stephanus Church and were welcomed there by excavation manager Dr Joachim Meffert and Horst Schenkel (Head of Civil Engineering at the City of Beckum).

Observant passers-by will have already seen them: ghost cyclist symbols sprayed on cycle paths with the message "Change sides!".

Seedlings instead of Christmas cards: The Blumenbecker Group donates so that 1,250 seedlings can be planted in the Beckum city bush and secured against browsing.

A lost and found dog has been reported to the citizens' office of the town of Beckum. It is a Jack Russell bitch.
